Computer labs

NB: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view pdf files. Get Adobe Acrobat reader.

All machines are loaded with MS Office, Internet Explorer and Netscape. Check the full listing of the software used in each lab. Labs are equipped with a Laserjet printer. Students will need to provide their supply of printer paper.

Casuarina

Casuarina campus has eight general PC labs, accessible from 7am to 1am, seven days a week. Outside of business hours, students can gain access to labs with their student card (used as a swipe-card). Labs are located on Level 3 of Orange 1 (see map).

NB: There are individual labs within some faculties - check with the relevant faculty for opening hours.

Palmerston

Palmerston campus has four general PC labs, two in Building A and two in Building C. Operating hours at Palmerston campus labs are determined by BASD Palmerston, phone 8946 7800 (see map).

Important note for staff with student-type teaching accounts

If you are an academic staff member with a student-type teaching account which is used by students under the age of 18, the responsibility for proper use of such an account falls to you individually. Complete and submit the approval form (.pdf) to ITMS Service Desk, Red 3, Casuarina campus.
