Important note for staff with student-type teaching accounts

If you are an academic staff member with a student-type teaching account which is used by students under the age of 18, the responsibility for proper use of such an account falls to you individually. Complete and submit the approval form (.pdf) to IT Kiosk, Building Red 1, Level 1, Room 20 (Red 1.1.20), Casuarina campus.

All machines are loaded with MS Office and Internet Explorer. Check the full listing of the software used in each lab. Lab printing facilities are provided on a user pay system, students can print either black and white or colour to two high volume printers located in the printer room in Orange 1.3.7. Other computing labs around the campus are equipped with printers provided and maintained by either Uni Print NT or Faculties.

Casuarina

Casuarina campus has seven general PC labs, accessible from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week. Outside of business hours, students can gain access to labs with their student card (used as a swipe-card). Labs are located on Level 3 of Orange 1 (see map).

NB: There are individual labs within some faculties - check with the relevant faculty for opening hours.

Palmerston

Palmerston campus has three general PC labs, two in Building A and one in Building C. Operating hours at Palmerston campus labs are determined by FAS Palmerston, phone 8946 7800 (see map).

Alice Springs

Alice Springs campus has two general PC labs. Operating hours at Alice Springs campus labs are determined by the campus administrator, phone 8959 5211 (see map)

Katherine

Town Center and Rural campuses have two general PC labs. Operating hours at these labs are determined by the campus administrators, phone 8973 8311.
