Amongst other things, Identity Management (IDM) manages staff computer accounts. This includes a primary computer account (to log into CDU computers), an email account and a range of LDAP accounts used to access CDU applications.
Accounts are provided by IDM based on the status of a person as follows:
- Staff – The status of a staff member is determined by the information in the Alesco Human Resource Information System.
- Contractor and Visitors – Visitors you need to be manually added to the IDM. This will include a date range which will tell the IDM when to provide accounts.
- PhD and Masters Students – The status of these students is determined by information in the Callista System Management System.
There is an IDM user application called eCentre that will allow you to view your status, your computer account status and access some other account management tools.
You can log into this application for a while even after your employment at CDU ends to allow you to view your account status.
IDM relies on information in Alesco (staff) and Callista (students). If you believe you are current but IDM is saying you are not please follow these instructions:
