Voicemail

<< Back to previous page

You are required to complete the telephone and voicemail access form when making changes to voicemail details for extensions.

Personalising your voicemail

NB: There are many other voicemail options that can be accessed through these menus. Unless you fully understand what they do, it is best not to try altering them. Contact Client Support for further assistance with your voicemail.

Diverting your phone

To avoid missing your calls whilst you are temporarily sitting at another location, divert your extension:

Removing call diversion

NB: If the phone which will receive your calls at is not answered (ext 1234 in this example), the caller will hear your normal voicemail message and not the message connected to the phone you are temporarily using.

Setting 'Out of Office' message

Going on leave? You will be required to change your voicemail message so that callers will know when you will return to work, and who should be contacted in your absence.

NB: When you next pick up the phone it will remind you that you have an out-of-office greeting activated and ask you if you would like to disable it. When you do your voicemail message will default back to your standard greeting.
