The faculty consists of three schools and one interdisciplinary program offering you a wide range of opportunities to change your world.

School of Australian Indigenous Knowledge Systems

The School of Australian Indigenous Knowledge Systems is the flagship of Indigenous research and education at Charles Darwin University. It offers a wide range of courses in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies and natural and cultural resource management to Indigenous and non-Indigenous students alike. The school is also home to the Indigenous Academic Support Unit.

The Head of School is Professor Wendy Brady.

School of Creative Arts and Humanities

The School of Creative Arts and Humanities offers education and training in the disciplines of art and design, communications, fashion, graphic design, humanities, Indonesian studies, social sciences, library and information studies, and music.

The faculty is also home to the Centre for Youth Music.

Our Associate Professor in Music is the Artistic Director/Conductor of the Darwin Symphony Orchestra.

The Head of School is Associate Professor Donal Fitzpatrick.

School of Law and Business

The School of Law and Business is the home to accounting, business administration, marketing, management and law programs. The school is renowned for developing and delivering innovative programs flexibly, using the latest in web-based and related information technologies. In fact, the school pioneered Australia's first fully on-line external law degree.

The Acting Head of School is Adrian Walter, Dean.
