  • Faculty Associate Deans (Ex Officio)
  • Faculty Executive Officer (Ex Officio)
  • One member nominated by and from each School/Institute/Centre of the Faculty
  • One member nominated by and from the general staff of the Faculty
  • One member nominated by and from each of the Faculty Boards of the other Facuties
  • One member nominated by and from the undergraduate students of the Faculty
  • One member nominated by and from the postgraduate students of the Faculty
  • One member nominated by and from the Alice Springs Campus
  • One member nominated by and from the University Alumni
  • By invitation of the Faulty Board other persons may be co-opeed to be members of Faculty Board for such periods as may be determined by the Board Chair

Learning & Teaching

There are several grants and programs available to assist LEBA staff to attend conferences, attend HDR supervisor's meetings (as a HDR supervisor or HDR student), for research and for study leave. Further details are below.

Special Studies Progam

The University is committed to providing targeted, continuing, professional development opportunities for all staff members. During a Special Studies Program a staff member is not expected to undertake normal University duties and is paid his or her normal salary, wages or entitlements while completing a Program of approved activities.

Special Studies Program leave applications are now being accepted for Sem 2, 2017.   Applications should be submitted to the Faculty Office (lebaadmin@cdu.edu.au) no later than COB Friday 7 April 2017. To apply please refer to the following documents:

It is anticipated applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in the first week of November.  This is to allow time for School planning and this timeline also aligns with confirmation of staffing requirements for Sem 2, 2017.

LEBA Staff Conference Travel Support Scheme

The Staff Conference Travel Support Scheme is intended to assist LEBA staff to present at conferences of significance to their discipline in order to provide tangible benefits for staff members themselves and for the School/Faculty/University. Internal Research Grants

The Faculty of Law, Education, Business and Arts strives to provide quality support and services and excellence in research and research training across all its Schools, Institute and Centres. The Faculty is committed to grow a thriving and supportive culture of research and research training.

The small and medium grant application forms will be assessed each year. The forms may change year to year and an email will be sent to LEBA Staff when the next round of applications is open.

HDR supervisors travel grant

Supervisors are eligible to apply for the Faculty travel grant. This travel grant is only applicable to supervisors with external students. It allows supervisors to travel to their students for meetings.
