CDU Filters

This is a list of import filters that may be useful to Charles Darwin University staff and students. The list is in alphabetical order by database name and the files can be downloaded individually.

Macintosh users will need to convert the files to a format recognizable by Macs, details are available from the University of Maastricht

Download Individual Filters

To copy a file hold down the shift key and click on the filter name. You can then save the file in your EndNote Filters folder C:\Program Files\EndNote\Filters\....
If you do not insert the filter correctly you will not be able to access it from the Import Manager when using EndNote

please note: filter files have the prefix cdu_

Direct	ACM digital library	Association for Computing Machinery	04/05		No filter required When you find a reference that you wish to import to EndNote, click on the title of the reference. When the full details are displayed, look for Display Formats and click on EndNote. A new window will open, displaying the reference. Select the whole reference (Ctrl+A) and copy it (Ctrl+C) then close the window. Open a new file in your word processor or text editor, and paste the reference into it (Ctrl+V) Continue adding further references to this file, leaving a blank line between references. Save the file as Text Only (*.txt). When importing this file, select EndNote Import as the Import Option.

Filter	AIATSIS Library Catalogue		01/2004	AIATSIS Library Catalogue [shift-click to save]	This is a filter for the catalogue of the library of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, which is available via the web. To download records: Check the records which you wish to download Click on the "Print/Capture" button For "type of output" select "Flat ASCII" For "view of records" select "Full" Click on the "Save" button
