What is a bibliographic style?

Bibliographic styles are files that are used to control the appearance of references in a bibliography.

The name of the style refers to the journal or publisher that has defined the bibliographic format.

Styles can be modified and new styles can be created using EndNote's style editor.

Special Notes

If you click on a style name and get gibberish on the screen, go Back and try again, this time pressing the Shift key while you click the style name.

All styles listed here will commence with CDU (like the filters and connection files). To access the latest styles from the Endnote page go to http://www.endnote.com/support/enstyles.asp

You must insert the correct files in the correct folder where your copy of EndNote has been installed. Typically this wil be C:\Program Files\EndNote\Styles\... at home or on the network Z:\EndNote\Styles\...If you do not insert the Styles file correctly you will not be able to access it from the Style Output Manager when using EndNote.
