Organisations

Organisational membership is for organisations or companies with more than five staff that require membership. The alternative is to have staff join individually as Associate Members.

Companies or organisations can register for organisational membership by supplying a letter on company letterhead, signed by an authorised officer of the company addressed to the Reference and Information Services Coordinator, CDU library. The letter needs to include:

• A statement that the company accepts responsibility for loss and damage of library items
• Payment details for $412 per annum for up to five library cards (additional cards are available at a cost of $66 per card - prices include GST)
• The names and work phone numbers of the employees who will be holders of the library cards (up to five employees for $412)
• Each employee will need to visit the library and present the following to obtain their library card:
  • photo ID
  • proof on residency (within 80km of Darwin)
• Each employee is responsible for their own loans and the cards are strictly non-transferable.

Membership does not include

• Use of computers
• Access to the electronic databases
• Access to the Internet
• Use of Short Term Loans
• Interlibrary loans
• Off campus services
