About eSpace
eSpace is based on the Fez and fedora open source software. Currently it is in the final stages of being configured for use. Go to eSpace.
eSpace at CDU will:
- Increase citation rates of CDU research
- Simplify compliance with research reporting requirements
- Simplify reuse of material
- Provide better management of long term preservation of CDU research
- Provide permanent links to CDU research
- Provide open access to CDU research on the web (where allowed by copyright)
- Create community spaces for researchers to work collaboratively

Institutional Repository forum powerpoint (1.4 Mb). If you'd
like to look at a mature repository, Eprints at UTAS
is one example of an established repository containing many thousands
of items.
We have created a blog to try and track some of the progress we make
with the repository. Go to Blog
