CDU staff
Your CDU staff card is also your library card. You can obtain this from the Uni Info Shop on Casuarina campus. Staff located elsewhere should contact People Management and Development directly to obtain a card.
Menzies staff require:
- Menzies card
- Letter stating the length of the contract or email us
- Valid & current email address

A variety of databases, electronic journals and other resources are provided by the library. To access these from off campus you will need the CDU login and password that you use to log into your computer on campus.

Liaison librarians
For help with a specialised research information requirements contact the appropriate liaison librarian.
Liaison librarians offer support to academic staff in acquiring and integrating library resources into courses and units, which includes collection development, database training sessions and embedding information literacy into courses and units.
General library workshops are held throughout the year, these include catalogue sessions, database searching and EndNote. These workshops are open to all staff and students. Specialised sessions can be arranged via your liaison librarian.
Special workshops for specific groups of students or individual staff members can be arranged on request. Contact your liaison librarian.
Inter library loan
The Library's Inter Library Loans unit is located on Level 3 of the Casuarina Campus library.
Off campus library services
Off campus library service provides access to library services and resources for CDU staff and students living further than 80km from Darwin or in an isolated area, eg Bathurst Island.
