Higher education
University Library Australia is a national borrowing scheme that allows all staff and students of AVCC member institutions to borrow from other university libraries. ULA is not intended to supplant the home institution as the primary supplier of information resources and services.
Non-CDU students and staff
Northern Territory residents studying at other Australian universities and living within 80km of Darwin, Palmerston or Alice Springs may become members of CDU library under the ULA scheme.
Borrowing is in person (ie no off campus services) and only at the campus where you joined.
Membership will not be given for any period less than three months. See Lending services for more information.
This reciprocal borrower membership is provided free of charge upon presentation of:
- Photo ID
- Copy of current enrolment form
- Staff are to have a copy of a letter of offer of employment or a current payslip
- Proof of residency in the Territory (within 80km of Darwin)
- valid & current email address
Open Universities Australia students
CDU students enrolled with Open Universities Australia can use your CDU student card as your library card. Open University students studying CDU subjects may use the Off Campus Library Services.
Other OUA students may join as Associate members
