Costs and payment options

The room rates at North Flinders International House are varied, depending upon the room type selected and the contract length.

2010 rates

All applicants must be 18 years or older at time of residence, unless prior approval is granted by management.


Semester Contract Rate (per week) for CDU students only

Standard (Single occupancy only)

Standard with Shared Ensuite (Single occupancy only)

Conditions (5% discount for full prepayment upon application approval):

  • Minimum stay Semester 1: 21 February - 20 June 2010
  • Minimum stay Semester 2: 11 July - 7 November 2010
  • Subject to application approval and availability
  • Two weeks' rent and four weeks' bond are due on application approval to confirm a reservation
  • Account must be kept two weeks in advance at all times
  • All semester reservations must adhere to the semester dates as a minimum
  • Lease-break will incur a half-bond penalty and payment will be required until room can be re-let

 

Weekly Rate (per week) for CDU students only

Standard (Single occupancy only)

Large Ensuite ($35 per week 2nd person charge)

Conditions:

  • Minimum commitment of 28 consecutive nights
  • Subject to application approval and availability
  • A minimum of two weeks notice is required to change the agreed date of departure
  • No changes will be made to the agreed date of departure within the last two weeks of a reservation
  • $200 bond or a valid credit card and full payment are required to confirm reservation.

 

Daily Rate (per night) for CDU students only

Standard (Single occupancy only)

$39.00

Large Ensuite ($35 per night 2nd person charge)

$77.50


Conditions:

  • No meal plan included.
  • Subject to application approval and availability
  • $200 bond or a valid credt card and full prepayment required for a confirmed reservation
  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to change the agreed date of departure
  • No changes will be made to the agreed date of departure within the last 48 hours of a reservation.

Payments

The North Flinders International House main office is a cashless office. We welcome payments via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Diners card. (Please note we are unable to refund payment on AMEX and Diners).

Payments can also be made via direct debit from your bank account. Please refer to the payment authorisation form.

Please note: Accounts for all weekly and daily bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival and all semester contract bookings must be kept two weeks in advance at all times.
