2011 costs and payment options

All applicants must be 18 years or older at time of residence, unless prior approval is granted by management. The room rates at North Flinders International House are varied, depending upon the room type selected and the contract length. Have a look at the room inclusions and pictures to choose a room suitable to your needs.

All rooms are:
• Fully furnished with air-conditioners, ceiling fans, small fridge, a king-sized single bed for standard rooms or two king-sized single beds for twin rooms, desk, chair, lamp, and wardrobe.

• All rooms are provided with bed linen and a towel
• Free shared kitchen, bathroom and clothes washing facilities
• Free and subsidised activities, events, functions, tutorials, seminars and workshops for all residents
• Free use of swimming pool, computer room, study room, games room, TV room, electric BBQ and common areas
• Includes electricity, water, internet access, common area cleaning and maintenance

• Rooms with Ensuites are bathrooms with a shower, toilet and vanity mirror.

Conditions:

  • 5% discount for full prepayment.
    • Full year: Save $325 for standard room, $362 for standard with shared ensuite, $237 for twin share and $294 for twin share with ensuite
    • Semester: Save $154 for standard room, $171 for standard with shared ensuite, $112 for twin share and $139 for twin share with ensuite
  • Minimum stay Semester 1: 14 February - 24 June 2011
  • Minimum stay Semester 2: 4 July - 7 November 2011
  • Subject to application approval and availability
  • Four (4) weeks bond and two (2) weeks rent are payable upon application approval. Bond need only be paid once
  • Weekend / Public Holiday arrival will incur an additional $65 fee
  • Account must be kept two (2) weeks in advance at all times
  • Only Australian credit cards/accounts are accepted for instalment payments. International Credit Cards/Accounts must pay in full
  • All semester contract rate applicants will be contracted to pay for the selected semester dates as a minimum
  • Lease-break will incur half-bond penalty, and payment will be required until room can be re-let
  • NFIH cannot guarantee applicant and requested sharer will be allocated the same room
  • Applications will not be processed unless all required fields are filled in
  • Acceptance of Charles Darwin University's Student Residence Conduct Rules and the Charles Darwin University's (Student Residence) By-Laws

Conditions:

  • Subject to application approval and availability

  • No changes will be made to the agreed date of departure within the last two weeks of a reservation

  • $200 bond or a valid credit card and full payment are required to confirm reservation

  • Weekend / Public Holiday arrival will incur an additional $65 fee

  • A minimum of two (2) weeks notice is required to change the agreed date of departure

  • All Weekly Rate applicants must adhere to the minimum commitment of 28 consecutive nights

  • NFIH cannot guarantee applicant and requested sharer will be allocated the same room

  • Applications will not be processed unless all required fields are filled in

  • Acceptance of CDU Student Residence Conduct Rules and CDU (Student Residences) By-laws

Daily Rate (per night) for CDU students only

Standard (Single occupancy only)

  • $200 Bond or a valid credit card required

  • Full payment due on application approval to confirm reservation

  • Weekend / Public Holiday arrival will incur an additional $65 fee

  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to change the agreed date of departure

  • NFIH cannot guarantee applicant and requested sharer will be allocated the same room

  • Applications will not be processed unless all required fields are filled in

  • Acceptance of CDU Student Residence Conduct Rules and CDU (Student Residences) By-laws

Payments

The North Flinders International House main office is a cashless office. We welcome payments via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Diners card. (Please note we are unable to refund payment on AMEX and Diners).

Payments can also be made via direct debit from your bank account. Please refer to the payment authorisation form.

Please note: Accounts for all weekly and daily bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival and all semester contract bookings must be kept two weeks in advance at all times.
