How do I view a Position Profile?
- From the relevant Jobs@CDU vacancy list, select the vacancy you are interested in applying for by clicking on the Position Title link:


- The Position Profile should open in a new window:

- If you wish to save this document for your records, within the pop-up window, click on:
- File
- Save As
Please Note:
Safari users
For Mac Safari users you must rename the WK8227$VDC.download file to a .pdf file to successfully open the position profiles.

What types of files can I attach to my application?
If possible, please combine all documentation into one attachment. All documents are to be attached as a PDF or Doc file only.
In the Attachments section at the bottom of the online application form:
- Click on the browse button
- Use the choose file box to locate your attachment
- Highlight the document you wish to attach and click on 'Open'
- Please ensure that the file name contains no white spaces and is less than 30 characters long
E.g. A Name Resume
ANameResume
or
A_Name_Resume
Is there a limit to the size of the file I can attach to my application?
Yes, the file must be no more than 2MB. If in exceptional circumstances you would like to submit a larger attachment, please contact People Management & Development on 08 8946 6904 or recruitment@cdu.edu.au.
I have completed the online application form, however my application will not submit. Why is this?
There are several fields within the online application form that are mandatory. These fields are:
- Surname
- First Name
- Title
- Home Street Address
- Suburb/Town
- State
- Postcode
- Email Address (Please enter only one (1) email address)
- Where did you first see this job advertised?
- File Name
- Declaration
If any of these fields are missing from your online application form a warning message will appear when you click on the 'Submit your Application Now' button.

Click OK and the cursor will return to the field requiring completion. Complete the mandatory field and then click 'Submit your Application Now' button.
An error message will appear for the following reasons:
- if the email address that you have entered does not include a '@' or a '.'.
- if you have not answered a required question in a questionnaire
- if you have not ticked the check box in the Declaration

Once the error has been corrected, any attachments will need to be re-attached and the ‘Submit your Application Now’ button selected again.
How do I know that my application has been submitted?
Once your application has been submitted to Charles Darwin University, a successful submission message will appear on the confirmation page. This confirmation page can be printed for your own records. An acknowledgement email will also be sent to the email address entered on your application form. Supporting documents attached to your application will appear as links at the top of the form.
