Welcome to the Charles Darwin University and congratulations on your successful appointment to the premier educational institution in Northern Australia.
Charles Darwin University takes pride in its role as the key provider of education, training and research in the Northern Territory. Our mission is to ensure that the services we provide locally, nationally and internationally support and advance the social, cultural and economic development of the Northern Territory.
When you have a moment, please take the time to read Strategic Directions which sets our planning framework for the next five to ten years. We believe that while positioning ourselves strategically, the University must pay attention to efficiency and the management of quality, continually assessing ourselves against best practice. An important aspect of this is the well being of the University's staff and we encourage you to continue your professional development and growth in the supportive environment that we believe is epitomised by harmonious relations between management and employee organisations.
