Opportunity: VET 'Train-the-Trainer' Workshops
A series of free train-the-trainer workshops will be conducted around Australia in November 2007 as part of the employability skills project undertaken by the National Quality Council (NQC).

These workshops are designed for VET people who are responsible for training others with about employability skills related to the national training system. Further details about the workshops are located at: www.pco.com.au/esw.

TAATAS401A - Maintain Information Requirements of Training and/or Assessment Organisations
This unit is specifically designed for CDU staff who are required to record and report training and/or assessment data for students. VTE lecturers will particularly benefit from this unit as it highlights the requirements for student information management in CDU and organisational procedures.

The unit addresses how VET lecturers and administrative staff can better use tools at CDU for the timely collection and release of accurate information to students.

Please note: Prior to attending the workshops, attendants need to have a:

  • Lotus Notes password

Survive the Drive
This two day program is offered by the Driver Education Unit, School of Engineering and Logistics and is designed to give participants the necessary knowledge, skills and information, to safely operate a vehicle on the rural and remote roads.
