My current research interest is focussed on the northern Australian marine environment, specifically:

  • Advanced analytical techniques in geochemistry
  • Environmental monitoring techniques
  • Natural environmental data archives
  • Stable and radioactive isotopic tracers

Neils is a key member of the Environmental Analytical Chemistry Unit.
