Research Interests

Naseem's research interests include:

  • Investigating therapeutically well-documented medicinal plants, particularly extraction, isolation and structural determination of their chemical constituent.
  • Heterocyclic Synthesis Benzotriazole chemistry
  • Development of synthetic routes for new heterocycles and preparing compounds for potential pharmaceutical applications.
  • Investigate the synthesis of polycyclic nitrogen containing alkaloids.
  • Pollution in the marine environments.
