Deloitte as Charles Darwin University's contracted service provider undertake an independent review process of the university's control environment and its management of risk.

Julie is a Partner in the Deloitte Darwin office where she has acquired almost nine years experience providing audit and accounting services. Her financial statements audit experience includes client structures such as companies, joint ventures, associations including councils, charitable organisations, superannuation funds and Northern Territory and Commonwealth Government audits. She has also conducted compliance audits and performance management systems audits on behalf of the NT Auditor-General.

Within the Darwin office of Deloitte, Julie is primarily responsible for the delivery of services to the Northern Territory Auditor-General and has developed expertise in international Financial reporting Standards. She has previously been involved in investigations initiated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission and has provided expert witness services to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Julie is a Certified Internal Auditor and has both worked on and supervised the internal audit function of various corporate clients.
