Background and current activitiesHannah is the NT Communications and Engagement Officer (Theme 7: Knowledge and Adoption) for TRaCK based at the School for Environmental Research, Charles Darwin University. Hannah is working to provide policy makers and end-users with the scientific knowledge they need to make informed decisions about river, floodplain and coast management in north Australia. Hannah's background is in community engagement and communications in the sustainable tourism sector. She has experience working in a variety of cross-cultural contexts from Indigenous Australia to the Asia Pacific region. She enjoys relating to a range of stakeholders from small island communities to high-level executives and government. She comes to TRaCK with a Bachelor of Environmental Science and her keen interest in communications and engagement, especially via the Internet, led her to a Postgraduate Diploma in media and communications through Deakin University. Hannah is keen to use her communications and engagement knowledge and experience for applied science outcomes in the Northern Territory.
