Disability support
The Student Facilitator (Disabilities), Kerrie Coulter, is the first point of contact for students with a disability attending Charles Darwin University. Our service facilitates access to all services of Charles Darwin University for students with a disability; this includes making reasonable adjustment to address the effects of the disability on the student's ability to undertake their study.
Support and Equity Services encourages:
- Independence
- Maximum access to the University
- Acceptance, understanding and awareness of disability issues.
The Student Facilitator (Disabilities), Kerrie Coulter, offers the following services:
- Registration cards to acknowledge students have a verified disability
- Needs assessments
- Coordination of adjustments or supports required
- Referrals to other services or agencies
- Advise to staff on teaching and assessment practices for students with a disability
- Other support and information as required.
