International student support
The Student Facilitator (International Support), Vibeke Foss, is the first point of contact for International students upon their arrival.
The Student Facilitator (International Support) is located on the Casuarina Campus and can be found in the Uni Info Shop between 8:30am and 12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students may drop by for assistance on such matters as:
- Course information and enrolment advice
- Fees and financial matters
- Visa related issues (work permit, visa extensions and visa conditions)
- Overseas student health cover
- Tax file number applications
- Activities and events
- Referral to other support services both on and off campus.
In addition, where students may require more in-depth or confidential assistance, an appointment may be made and you will be seen by the Student Facilitator (International Support) in Support and Equity Services, Building 22 between 12pm and 4pm.
Letters of Completion
If you wish to apply for permanent residency upon completion of your studies you will be required to provide the Department of Immigration and Citizenship with a Letter of Completion.
To request a letter of completion send an email containing your full name, student number, course, birth date and postal address to: equity@cdu.edu.au. Please write ‘Request Letter of Completion’ in the Subject line of the email.
