What is Charles Darwin University Sport

CDU Sport provides sporting and recreational services and opportunities to students and staff of Charles Darwin University as well as the wider Darwin community. We are here to enhance university life and help you become better acquainted with fellow students and staff through a variety of fun sport and recreational activities.

We have 13 clubs, from competitive mainstream sports to social activities, offering everything from athletics and Aussie rules football to volleyball and ultimate frisbee. We have something to suit everyone. We can also assist if you are interested in starting a new club.

For those that are serious about fitness, we have a fully equipped gym, Fitness Unlimited, on Casuarina campus. Work at your own pace or under the guidance of our professional gym staff. Circuit and group fitness classes are available on a casual basis for just $8 a session. Classes are a fun way to boost your fitness levels.

We provide rehabilitation services to clients, with professional rehabilitation equipment and a range of specialised classes for seniors and disabled persons.

The Australian University Games is not to be missed. This is a great opportunity for those who love to play sport, enjoy meeting new people, travelling and partying!

The Games are held annually with a week long sporting festival that participants never forget. The games are renowned for providing a friendly but competitive environment for Australia's university sporting elite. CDU Sport will financially assist the university's competing students.
