CDU orientation
 |
| Roger Jones, CDU Sport staff member |
CDU held its orientation day for new students on Tuesday 26 February. CDU Sport was
represented on the day by our own staff and a number of representatives from our clubs, providing information on each of our sporting clubs, Australian University Games, Fitness Unlimited and other areas of interest.
The day was hugely successful with students lining up to register with us and collecting brochures for their chosen sports. Students quickly snapped up the free sports bottles on offer and the rowing machine was a big hit with students trying to out do each other.
CDU Sport is already beginning plans for next year's orientation which is expected to be a much bigger affair run over numerous days.
Clubs will soon be sent a list of names of students interested in joining a new sporting club.
