Research Themes and Major Projects

Childhood Intervention, Development, and Wellbeing

This theme brings together research particularly in the areas of Indigenous social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, child development, and cultural studies.

Education Systems Reform

This research theme produces evidence-based knowledge on effective teaching methods, and formulates policy advice on strategies to overcome the challenge of translating good theory into practise.

Population Studies

Gambling Research

This research comprises a series of related projects which investigate Indigenous perspectives on gambling, general gambling patterns in the Territory population, and regulation systems in the Territory compared with other jurisdictions.
