Do I have to tell the University if I move house?

It is the student’s responsibility to maintain a current address with the University during the entire time you are a student. It is essential that a semester address is recorded and is the address you will be residing at during the semester. This may be different to the address you use for your postal address. This is essential because it is the address the University uses for timetabling exams to suit the needs of students. If you have not specified a semester address in your original enrolment you will need to notify us in writing. You cannot change this address using My Student Info.

My name has changed. How do I advise the University?

Students wishing to change their name must provide evidence showing their new name and/or their former name. Charles Darwin University requires proof of a student’s former name for those who are divorced or separated and wish to revert to their former name (e.g. marriage certificate, drivers licence, passport, birth certificate, divorce papers). All requests for changes of name must be done in writing using a GEN101 Change of Personal Details and must be accompanied by documentary evidence.
