I have a disability and would like to find out what kind of support is available to me. Who can I contact?

Kerrie Coulter, the Student Facilitator (Disabilities), provides a wide range of assistance and support to students with disabilities. She can assist with your transition to university, which may include coordination of alternative examination arrangements or special consideration, making available a range of equipment to meet your needs, or the provision of tutors and note-takers. Contact her on 08 8946 6288 or email kerrie.coulter@cdu.edu.au.

I would like some assistance to improve my study skills. How can I do this?

The Academic Language and Learning Support Program (ALLSP) offers tutorials for both internal and external students on a range of topics designed to help students succeed in their studies at CDU. Students can also participate in online tutorials as well as attend individual consultations.

The ALLSP is located in the Support and Equity Services offices, Blue 1, Casuarina campus. Phone 8946 6288 to make an appointment, or email: geoff.etches@cdu.edu.au.

If you are an Indigenous student studying at Charles Darwin University, the Indigenous Academic Support Unit (IASU) is available to help you adapt to the university environment, meet the academic requirements of your course, find a tutor if you need one or answer any questions you might have.
