About the Office
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Teaching and Learning, is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the following:
- Academic matters relating to higher education (HE) and VET
- Academic planning and policy
- Quality assurance through AUQA and AQT
- Teaching and learning development, including innovation
- Develop and implement of annual Teaching and Learning Operational Priorities Plan
Teaching and Learning Quality Group
- Professional Development activities specific to Teaching and Learning
- Coordination of Learnline - the university's online learning management system
- Support for the production of quality print, multimedia and web-based materials
- Assistance in unit and course design and development
- Teaching and Learning Awards
- Distribution, collection and reporting of Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELTS)
- Quality assurance for HE (AUQA) and VET (AQTF), including internal and external audits
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Accreditation and Scope of Registration
- VET policy, processes, planning and profile management
