Learning and Teaching Quality Group Teams - Broad Functions
Accreditation and Quality Team
- Manage the higher education course accreditation and re-accreditation process and ensure the publication of timely and accurate course and unit information
- VET Scope of registration and accreditation
- Develop and operate an enterprise level system for the timely collection, analysis and distribution of teaching and learning performance data including a range of client survey results
- Provide advice on quality frameworks and coordinate preparations for self review and external quality audits
- Assist with the development of student load projections and plans
- Assist with investigations concerning student characteristics, attrition and retention and undertake reporting of student data to funding agencies
- Academic process and policy development
- Liaise and interact with the Academic Development, Flexible Delivery, and VET Delivery Management teams.
Academic Development Team
- Coordinate and deliver targeted Academic Development Program
- Coordinate and target course and curriculum renewal and development including educational design support to academic staff
- Evaluate and advise on the adoption of new learning technologies
- Student Experience projects
- School/division liaison
- Provide policy development and advice
- Provide representation on appropriate teaching groups and bodies
- Provide pedagogic research and support
- Liaise and interact with the Flexible Delivery, Accreditation and Quality, and VET Delivery Management teams.
Flexible Delivery Team
- Develop and operate an enterprise level system for the production and distribution of high quality learning resources
- Administrate and support the University’s Learning Management and Content Management Systems
- Evaluate and advise on the adoption of new learning technologies
- Develop innovative multi-media learning environments
- Provide assignment and examination management and support for students using learning resources
- Interact with Open Universities Australia
- Liaise with Academic Development, Accreditation and Quality, and VET Delivery Management teams.
