Resource Production (RP)

RP provides teaching staff with production support of external print and online study materials. RP staff support course renewal and student experience projects.

RP services include:

  • print and learnline desktop publishing, document formatting, text and image manipulation and creation of Learnline image banners
  • print material production including scanning, file conversion, minor editing and reader preparation for printing at UniprintNT
  • development and maintenance of University standard print and Learnline templates including unit outlines and study guides
  • co-ordination of production services with UniprintNT, Access Services, and E Reserve
  • document storage and security
  • Learnline administration including creation of staff user accounts and Learnline sites, archiving of Learnline units, roll-over of Learnline sites, set up of online submission links/safe assignment etc
  • Learnline unit development including uploading documents and materials, inserting E-reserve links, creation of resource CDs including artwork, and test, survey and question pool development
  • Learnline professional development sessions with staff and development of Learnline training materials – face to face and online
  • quality assurance audits of Learnline and print materials (correct assessment dates, staff information, semester length etc)
  • Learnline ‘helpdesk’ support and troubleshooting for teaching staff via email, telephone and drop in sessions (e.g. basic and technical aspects such as the use of plug ins).
