Futures Framework
The Futures Framework, 2007 to 2016 is also known as the “1st in 5 in 10 Strategy”. This framework describes the focus of University commitments and efforts over a ten year period in student learning, research, business development, community engagement and administrative practices.
The framework elucidates the 5 defining attributes of the attributes:
- professional
- personal
- unique
- bold
- savvy.
There are five areas in which the University seeks to be in the top band of Australian public universities:
- Indigenous participation and relevance
- pathways for learning
- professional, globally oriented education and training
- knowledge to solve complex problems of importance to the communities of our regions
- expanding our capacity through partnerships.
