Charles Zhu

Lecturer, Tertiary Enabling Program

I started teaching at CDU in 2007, initially as an internal computing tutor in the Common Unit CUC100 Academic literacies. A year later, I joined the Tertiary Enabling Program (TEP) as a computing lecturer, teaching and coordinating the units Introductory Computing and Computing for Tertiary Study. I also had the opportunity to teach Foundation Maths for a semester.

My teaching career started in 1987 as a lecturer at a University in China, where I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for 9 years.  Prior to teaching at CDU, I was a mathematics teacher at a high school in Darwin for over 5 years.
