Around the world, February 12 is the commemoration of the birth of Charles Darwin in 1809. Celebrating our University’s namesake, and the pivotal role that our University plays in the Northern Territory, the Charles Darwin Black Tie Dinner has quickly become one of the premier events on Darwin’s social calendar.

Hosted by the CDU Foundation, this event changes the lives of our students, and ultimately our community, for the better, with all funds raised by the Charles Darwin Black Tie Dinner providing ongoing support for student prizes, scholarships and vital research.

Help us to help students by celebrating Charles Darwin’s contribution to science and the contribution that Charles Darwin University is proud to make to our community. We promise to bring you an inspiring keynote and fantastic entertainment by ARIA award winner Emily Wurramara, along with a delicious three-course meal matched with fine wines.

Tickets will be on sale soon, register your interest now to be kept updated.
