Around the world, 12 February is the commemoration of the birth of Charles Darwin in 1809. Celebrating our University’s namesake, and the pivotal role that our University plays in the Northern Territory, the Charles Darwin Black Tie Dinner has quickly become one of the premier events on Darwin’s social calendar.

Hosted by the CDU Foundation, this event changes the lives of our students, and ultimately our community, for the better, with all funds raised providing ongoing support for students in need.

Join us in celebrating Charles Darwin’s contribution to science and the contribution Charles Darwin University makes to our community. Keynote speaker will be global tech entrepreneur and CDU alumnus Dr Mark Englund, with a special performance from ARIA nominated Territorian Emily Wurramara, along with a delicious three-course meal matched with fine wines.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 2020 Charles Darwin Black Tie Dinner.
