priNT@CDU exhibition installation

Installing Brook Andrew's print Revolution for the exhibition priNT@CDU: Printmaker's Perspective.

The installation of Revolution took a lot of planning and ingenuity from CDU Art Gallery technician Gary Single, curator Joanna Barrkman and exhibitions and collection officer Eileen Lim. Revolution is over 3 metres long and required a scissorlift and two 12 foot ladders to install on the 4 metre high agallery wall. Screws were placed into the wall 20cm apart, the print was then carefully lifted and fastened to the wall using magnets to adhere to the screws.

Brook Andrew's screenprint Revolution was created in 1999 at the Northern Editions Printmaking Workshop at Charles Darwin Darwin University. Only 4 editions of the print have been created with the workshop proof gifted to the Charles Darwin University Art Collection.
