Warlukurlangu Arts "Bird" suite

This group of Yuendumu artists are all emerging artists. Jurlpu kuja kalu nyimani Yurntumu-wana – Birds that live around Yuendumu was created as a result of a workshop conducted at the Warlukurlangu Art Centre whereby artists were encouraged to paint local birds. The workshop led to a group of artists continuing to paint birds and hence, this series of 42 paintings emerged.
