*Regional or remote locations in relation to Darwin consist of anywhere in excess of 2.5 hours of travel time by car or anywhere inaccessible by vehicle from Darwin, excluding locations that are a short ferry trip away (e.g. Mandorah).
Aspire travel grant for a partner school
A travel grant for a partner school can be used for travel and accommodation costs for students and their accompanying adults to travel to Darwin to attend CDU Open Day. Funds for a travel grant need to be used in full at the time of travel.
To be eligible for an Aspire travel grant, schools must bring students who:
demonstrate financial need
live in a remote or regional area in relation to Darwin in the NT
are Australian citizens or Permanent Humanitarian Visa holders
have an academic record that indicates the student is on a viable pathway toward tertiary education as determined by school staff.
