Purpose

To enable graduation administration staff to update Graduand Status, Graduand Type and Graduand Approval status for graduands

Update Process

The process updates any or all of the following:

• A Graduand Status
• A Graduand Type
• A Graduand Approval Status
• Conferral Date

Graduand records to be updated can be identified by a combination of Graduand Status, Graduand Type and Graduand Approval Status or by Conferral Date.

Method

GRDJ5400 can be run in immediate mode or in batch mode, through the Job Control & Scheduling Subsystem.

The Update Graduand Status and Conferral Date block contains:

Parameters Tab

Select either...

• Log Creation Date

  Or a combination of the following parameters...

• Ceremony Round
• Ceremony Number

Graduation Group Tab

Select a group of Graduands to update

• Graduand Type To Update
• Graduand Status To Update
• Graduand Approval Status To Update
• Include Encumbered Students check box

Update To Tab

• Update Graduands To Graduand Type
• Update Graduands To Graduand Status
• Update Graduands To Approval Status
• Set Conferral Date To

Rules/Notes:

This job allows graduation administration staff to update the Graduand Type, Graduand Status, Graduand Approval Status and Conferral Date for graduands specified according to the selected parameters.

An exception report is generated when the job is run.

The report will be displayed in landscape format.

Rules/Notes:

If no log creation date is specified in the Parameters Tab, then a Ceremony Round must be specified.

If no log creation date is specified in the Parameters Tab, then at least one of Graduand Type, Graduand Status or Graduand Approval Status must be specified on the Graduation Group Tab.

If no log creation date is specified in the Parameters Tab, then at least one of Graduand Type, Graduand Status or Graduand Approval Status must be specified on the Update Graduand Status and Conferral Date Tab.
