To enable the creation and maintenance of Government Delivery Types

Government Delivery Types are mapped to institution-defined values and are assigned to Unit Offering Options. They are reported in the NAT00120 Enrolment File as Delivery Type Identifiers. This form sets up Government requirements for CRSF11L0 - Maintain Delivery Type.

The following are examples of Government Delivery Types:

Value Description
01 COLLEGE/CAMPUS BASED
02 ON-LINE AND REMOTE ACCESS
03 EMPLOYMENT-BASED
04 OTHER (INCLUDING MIXES OF THE ABOVE)

This form is accessed through the main menu.

 

The Government Delivery Type block contains:

  • Govt Delivery Type
  • Description
  • Closed check box

 Rules/Notes:

To create a new Government Delivery Type:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the new code in the Government Delivery Type field of a blank record
  • Enter the corresponding description for the Government Delivery Type in the Description field
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

 Government Delivery Type Codes MUST be unique. 

To modify a Government Delivery Type:

  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, an Government Delivery Type should not be modified.

To delete a Government Delivery Type:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

A Government Delivery Type cannot be deleted if it has been used in a Delivery Type record. It can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
