Government Spoken English Proficiency records are mapped to institution-defined values and are recorded for VET Person Statistics. Government Spoken English Proficiency is reported in the NAT00080 Client File. The form sets up Governments requirements for ENRF01V0 - Maintain Spoken English Proficiency.

The following are examples of AVETMISS Spoken English Proficiency:

This form is accessed through the main menu.

 

The Government Spoken English Proficiency Code block contains:

  • Govt Spoken English Proficiency
  • Description
  • Closed check box

 Rules/Notes:

To create a new Government Spoken English Proficiency Code:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the new code in the Government Spoken English Proficiency field of a blank record
  • Enter the corresponding description for the Government Spoken English Proficiency in the Description field
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

Government Spoken English Proficiency Codes MUST be unique. 

To modify a Government Spoken English Proficiency Code:

  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, a Government Spoken English Proficiency Code should not be modified.

To delete a Government Spoken English Proficiency Code:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

A Government Spoken English Proficiency Code cannot be deleted if it has been used in a Person record. It can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
