Purpose

To produce a list of Graduands based on the user-specified Graduand Type parameter

This job produces a list of graduands based on specified parameter values. As a minimum, a Ceremony Round and Sort Order must be specified. Graduand selection may be further refined by using other parameters.

The selected records will be delivered in a CSV format. The filename created will be GRAD_TYPE_LIST.csv.#, where '#' is the Request Job Run ID. The file will be recorded in the directory defined in JBSF4600 for the control_item OUTPUT.

The data extracted referring to Unallocated Graduands is differentiated in the following manner:

• Graduands that are not allocated and whose award is included in the ceremony, are identified by the inclusion of the word 'INCLUDE ALL UNALLOCATED GRADUANDS - AWARDS IN CEREMONY' in the 'Ceremony Number' column of the output file
• Graduands that are not allocated to a ceremony and their award is not being conferred in the ceremony round, are identified in the file by 'NOT OFFERED AND UNALLOCATED'
• 'INCLUDE ALL UNALLOCATED GRADUANDS' is selected with the above included
• 'EXCLUDE ALL UNALLOCATED GRADUANDS' results in no unallocated graduands being included in the the output.

The job is accessed from the main menu.

The following fields are Mandatory:

• Ceremony Round (defaults to the current Ceremony Round)
• Sort Order

• Award Code, Surname and Given Names or
• Course Code, Surname and Given Names
