Use this page to search for Proposals or existing Curriculum Items
Basic or Detailed Search fields are available. Detailed Search fields include a greater range of search options.
The page heading indicates the type of Search - Basic or Detailed, however "Advanced Search" displays at the head of the search fields in both cases.
Click on the Search button to filter the records which satisfy the search criteria. These are returned as a list with curriculum items first, followed by proposals. These can be re-sorted if required. A message 'No records to display' is returned if no records satisfy the search criteria.
Once you have found the required record, click on the Proposal ID or Curriculum Item Code link to open the record.

This page can be called when creating a new curriculum item based on an existing item, or when proposing to update an existing curriculum item.
You can open this page from PAAW1000 when searching for a proposal or curriculum item. When opened via the All Proposals link, the page opens with all records initially returned. You can then filter these records using the Search fields.
Alternatively you can enter a part of the record proposal id, code or description/title in the Search field in PAAW1000 and click enter to open this page with the records already filtered.
If you are creating a new proposal which is based on an existing proposal or curriculum item, this page is used to search for and select the proposal or curriculum item on which to base the new proposal. In this case this page is opened if the 'Base Proposal on Existing' option is selected in the Proposal Selection Method screen.
Navigation from this page depends upon the type of user and the type of proposal / curriculum item selected:
**For a person to be a Proposal Administrator , they need to have a system Advanced Function as described below assigned to them or their Security Role:
In each case above, the Back button will returns you to PAAW1000.
This displays the basic set of Search options which filter proposals or existing units, unit sets or courses.
Enter search criteria as desired. More specific search criteria will reduce the number of records returned by the search, so add additional fields if required.

| Proposal ID | Enter all or part of a proposal ID to restrict proposal records returned according to the operator selected and the digits entered. |
| Code | Enter all or part of a unit, unit set or course code to restrict proposal records returned according to to operator selected and the characters entered. |
| Type | Select COURSE, UNIT, UNIT SET or USER DEFINED to limit the records returned accordingly. |
| Description/Title | Enter all or part of the Unit, Unit Set or Course Title or Proposal Description, to restrict records returned according to to operator selected and the characters entered. |
To change to a Detailed Search, click on the Detailed Search link (near the bottom of the page).
This displays a more comprehensive set of search options arranged in tabs appropriate to the current search context.
Additional fields can also be selected via the Add Fields selector.
Enter Search criteria as for Basic Search and click on the Search button to display the results.
To change to a Basic Search click on the Basic Search link (near the bottom of the page).
To reduce the amount of space taken up by the Search fields, click on the Hide link or click on the collapse button alongside the Advanced Search heading.
