Government Employment Categories are mapped to institution-defined values and are recorded for VET Person Statistics. Government Employment Categories are reported in the NAT00080 Client File. This form sets up Government requirements for ENRF01R0 - Maintain Employment Category. The following are examples of AVETMISS Employment Categories:

| To create a new Government Employment Category:

Rules/Notes: Government Employment Categories MUST be unique. |
| To modify a Government Employment Category:
|
Rules/Notes: Once in use, an Government Employment Category should not be modified. |
| To delete a Government Employment Category:
|
Rules/Notes: A Government Employment Category cannot be deleted if it has been used in an Employment Category record. It can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box. |
