ADMF0450 - Maintain Duplicate Person Status

Purpose

This function allows the recording of institution-defined Duplicate Person Statuses.

Structure Block Duplicate Person Status

 

These statuses can be recorded against a Person ID to indicate whether another Person ID is a Duplicate, isn’t a Duplicate or is a potential Duplicate.

Accessed via the main menu.

 

The Duplicate Person Status block contains:

  • Duplicate Person Status
  • Description
  • System Duplicate Person Status
  • System Default check box
  • Closed check box

Rules/Notes:

The following validations are:

  • Cannot associate a Closed System Duplicate Person Status with user-defined Duplicate Person Status
  • For each set of Duplicate Person Statuses mapped to the same System Duplicate Person Status allow no more than one to be set as the System Default check box
  • Cannot set System Default check box against a closed Duplicate Person Status
  • Cannot delete a System Duplicate Person Status when a Duplicate Person Status record exists
  • Cannot delete a Duplicate Person Status when a Duplicate Person ID record exists
