| Individual items or processes are monitored through the steps defined for their Tracking Type. Each institution defined Tracking Type is mapped to a System Tracking Type. Most system Tracking Types (UNDEFINED is the exception) have a specific purpose. For example, the system Tracking Type ASSIGNMENT is assigned to Tracking Types and hence tracking items which are used to monitor the movement of assignments. Refer to: The

| Use this form to record and maintain institution defined Tracking Types. For a new Tracking Type:
For an existing Tracking Type, change data as required, but in particular you can:
Recording Tracking Types and How Tracking Items are Created provided further information. |
Rules: A Tracking Type is assigned to each tracking item. This defaults the Tracking Type Steps to the item. Modifying a Tracking Type will not affect existing tracking items associated with it. If the SSF Avail check box is selected for a particular Tracking Step, then in TRKF2100 the SSF check box will be selected by default. |
