Explanation

Use this form to record 'Government basis for admission type codes'. These are reported for element 327 in the HE Course Admissions and VSL Course Admissions data groups.

When a set of institution defined basis for admission type codes are recorded in ADMF0270, each must be mapped to one of these Government types.

Institution codes can be the same as Government codes.

The tick box 'Institute Transfer Default', is used to determine which Government Basis For Admission code should be used to assign to the course if Basis For Admission code is not specified.

Rules/Notes:

Once used in the definition of institution defined basis for admission type codes, Government basis for admission type codes should not be deleted. Select the Closed indicator to prevent further use.

A validation within the form will ensure that only one Basis For Admission will be able to be defined as the Institute Transfer Default.
