This job transfers changed/new data from Callista SMS to Edge. Edge will then export this data to HEIMS.

Note: The HEIMS data submission process can accept data as of 01/01/2019, so the first time the job is run for 'changes since the last run', all data since 01/01/2019 will be processed. Hence it is it is advisable to run this job first time from an appropriate 'since date', before using the 'since last run' parameter.

After the job has completed, staff can view and edit the data in the Edge system before uploading the data to HEIMS. HEIMS responses will be viewable in Edge. Any subsequent data changes in Callista SMS can then be uploaded to Edge.

Token based security is required to interface with Edge to upload data.
When an Edge instance is created, the SMSSERV user is defined with a password (secret). That username and password is provided to Edge during the processing of this job and a token is obtained. The token is then used to upload data until it expires (the default is set to an hour) and then a new token is required.

STAJ3000 is used by HE institutions and other institutions that cater for VSL students.

This job is accessed via the main menu and can only be run in Schedule mode.

Notes

For institutions with multiple instances of Edge, the instance to transfer to must be nominated.
Instances of Edge are configured in SECF0200.

Users can opt to process 'All changes that have occurred to relevant Callista data since the last time this job was run' or 'All changes that have occurred since the nominated date (and time)', -- but not both.

The job is designed to run the job with the 'Process Changes since last run' parameters set as a regular scheduled job to pick up changes. The 'Process changes since' date parameter should be used on the occasions where the user needs to go back and grab data for a date that is before the last job run.

Date is recorded as DD/MM/YYYY

Select the check box(es) for the different sets of data which you wish to include in the transfer.
At least one check box must be selected for this job to run.

If one of, Courses of Study and Courses is selected, but not the other; then warning is generated (these are usually reported together).
