This report is run for a selected CAN, when the user clicks on the Report button in FINF1W00.

The report includes the following:

• Person Details - Person ID, Surname, Given Names, Postal Address, Fee Period, CHESSN, USI, Date of Issue
• Course Details - Course Code(s), Course Description, Cohort
• Unit Details - Unit Code(s), Credit Points, EFTSL , Unit Census Date, Contribution Band(s), Student Status, SLE Consumed
• Commonwealth Assistance Liability Details - Unit Assessed Amount, Student Payments, Sponsor Payments, Upfront Discount Amount, HECS-HELP Debt, FEE-HELP Assistance, FEE-HELP Loan Fee, FEE-HELP Debt (FEE-HELP Assistance + FEE-HELP Loan Fee), Total ATO Debt. An indicator is also displayed if the unit is subject to the grandfathered student contribution rate.
• OS-HELP Details - Loan Scheme, Loan Period, Date of Incurral, Loan Amount, Loan Fee, Total Loan Amount, Loan Status
• SA-HELP Details - Loan Scheme, Assessed Amount, Payment Amount, Total ATO Debt.
• Report Totals – Total Credit Points, Total EFTSL, Total SLE Consumed*, Total Assessed Amount, Total Student Payment, Total Sponsor Payment, Total Upfront Discount, Total HECS-HELP Debt, Total FEE-HELP Assistance, Total FEE-HELP Loan Fee, Total FEE-HELP Debt, Total Liability to ATO

*Note: Student Learning Entitlement (SLE) was abolished on 1 January 2012, there is no longer a limit on the amount study a Commonwealth supported student can undertake.

To Run the Person CAN Detail report:

• Go to FINF1W00
• Query for the required student in the Person block
• Select CAN from this displayed in the Commonwealth Assistance Notice Information block
• Click on the Report button

All data in the report is sourced from the CAN_RECORD_V for the person and creation_dt

The name of the person is displayed as:
Title <space> Given Names <space> Surname

In the Commonwealth Assistance Liability Details data section of the report, if there are multiple contribution bands, they are displayed separated by commas.
e.g. 3970,2142,1451
The Totals display the sums for Credit Points, EFTSL and *SLE Consumed columns.

In the Commonwealth Assistance Liability Details section, the Totals display the sum of values in each column.

In the OS-HELP section, the Totals are the sums for the Loan Amount, Loan Fee and Total Loan Amount columns.
