SCHJ0700 - End-Date Promotion Discounts

Purpose To bulk end-date Promotion Discounts applied to Student Course Attempts

This job enables users to bulk end-date Promotion Discounts applied to Student Course Attempts in the Maintain Student Course Attempt Promotional Discount form (ENRF3260), for a defined Person ID Group of students.

When the job is run it applies the specified end-date to all open-end-dated Promotion Discounts in ENRF3260 that match the specified Promotion Discount ID and Promotion Discount Category for all students in the specified Person ID Group.

Records of type SCH-PRMDSC are generated in the S_LOG table for any validations not satisfied.

This job is accessed via the main menu.

 

The Bulk End-Date Promotion Discounts block contains:

Parameters Tab:

  • Person ID Group
  • Promotion Discount ID
  • End Date
  • Promotion Discount Category

Rules/Notes:

Person ID Group, Promotion Discount ID and End-Date parameters are mandatory.
Promotion Discount Category parameter is optional.

Person ID Group, Promotion Discount ID and Promotion Discount Category cannot be Closed.

The User must have the required privileges to select the Person ID Group.

To Bulk End-Date Promotion Discounts :

  • Go to SCHJ0700
  • Select a value for Person ID Group, Promotion Discount ID parameters.
  • Specify the end date to be applied.
  • Optionally select the Promotion Discount Category.
  • Run the job ASAP or schedule a time to run.
