Purpose

To bulk update the Scholarship Application Outcome Status for a specified Scholarship Code and Period.

This job enables users to bulk update the Outcome Status of scholarship applications, (i.e. to offer or decline scholarships in bulk).
Users must select a Scholarship Code and Period from parameter fields, and if required, an Applicant ID Group (to run the job for a defined group of applicants), and also select an institution-defined Outcome Status FROM – TO combination that maps to one of the following System Outcome Status combinations:

The Bulk Update Scholarship Application Outcomes block contains:

Parameters Tab:

• Applicant ID Group
• Scholarship Code
• Period
• Outcome Status From:
• Outcome Status To:

Rules/Notes:

A Scholarship Code, Period, and Outcome Status From – To combination, must be specified.

Applicant ID Group is optional.

The Period parameter displays the Period as 'Calendar type – Start Date – End Date', as it occurs in SCHF0120.

The Outcome From parameter must be selected before an Outcome Status (To) value can be selected.

To Bulk Update Scholarship Application Outcomes:

• Go to SCHJ0800.
• Select applicable values for Scholarship code and Period (and if required, Applicant ID Group).
• Select the required From/To Outcome Status Combination for the Outcome Status that you want to change.
• Run the job ASAP or schedule a time to run.

Rules/Notes:

Any validation which causes an error will be recorded into S_LOG_ENTRY for System Log Type of SCH-STATUS with the related validation error and no changes will be made on outcome status for that record.
