Keith Draper is enrolled as a first-year mature aged student, located in town of Katherine enrolled in AUR30616 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Working for the Indigenous community-led organisation ‘Kalano Mechanics’ has provided Keith with the opportunity to pursue a career in the light vehicle mechanical industry.

Keith started his studies late this year, and has been working hard diagnosing and repairing systems and faults as part of his course, to transition in the second year of his apprenticeship in 2019.

CDU staff support Keith, like all regional apprentices, by providing a work environment on Casuarina Campus to learn and support assessment requirements, helping them successfully transition through their apprenticeships.

We look forward to seeing Keith, and all of our dedicated apprentices back at CDU next year.
