CDU Confucius Institute is very excited to announce the return of the monthly Chinese movie sessions. Movies are like windows; writers and directors use them to present certain specifics of a culture, and people use them as windows to view culture and appreciate its beauty. In recent years, there have been a lot of excellent Chinese movies, which either make the ancient myth of China reappear or showcase modern China.
For our second movie, we will be showcasing Big Fish & Begonia, which is a very popular Chinese movie regarding a small spoiled girl who learns what love is and what she needs to do to protect her home.
The screening will be held on Wednesday 11 September 2024 at Orange Building 2, Level 4, Room 24.
